I'm gutted.
I ran into a pillar trying to park into a tiny spot. Didn't know how wide my hips were.

Why would he be physically hurt? He just had his car damaged and understandably feels terrible. What does that have to do with the improbable chance that he's hurt from a parking accident...

ah man. That sucks. I hate even driving in Chicago. I've also had people play bumper cars with my car when they're parallel parking in Chicago when I'm sitting in my freaking car.

I did something similar to my 525i not two weeks after getting out of the body shop after $5K in repairs and paint work. I had just received some potentially devastating medical news, got into the car, turned the wheel and backed out - right into cement pillar. I should have backed up and then turned the wheel, but with the worst pain in my life and a 102 degree fever I wasn't exactly in the right frame of mind, and in retrospect, probably shouldn't have been driving.
